Our CSR & Sustainability Projects
We believe it is essential to give back to the local and global communities that we operate in.
We are proud of the support we have provided to charitable organisations and are continually looking at ways to reduce our environmental impact.
Environmentally sustainable. Eco-aware.
As part of our commitment to being more environmentally sustainable, we are making meaningful changes to the way we operate. Our offices are paper-lite, only printing when we genuinely need to, we are committed to recycling paper and plastics and our offices are fitted with energy-efficient lighting. Additionally, in line with our values as renewable energy personnel providers, we are in the process of moving towards an entirely electric fleet of vans to cut our carbon emissions.
Armed Forces Covenant – We’re proud to have received the Armed Forces Covenant Bronze Award as part of the pledge we have made as a forces-friendly employer. Our commitment to supporting the ex-forces community is close to our heart, and we are dedicated to giving back to those who have served.
We typically have an armed forces presence on our projects and are no strangers to the immense value that reservists and veterans can bring to the civilian workplace. On our Covid-19 projects, in particular, we found the wealth of transferable skills that our ex-forces employees bring to be indispensable in the smooth running of these highly complex operations.
BFRS (British Forces Resettlement Services) Careers Fair – In September 2020, we were delighted to participate in the BRFS virtual careers fair, providing ex-forces veterans with the opportunity to view our latest vacancies and talk to the team about opportunities arising at MAC Projects.
Walking with the Wounded – We took part in the Walking with the Wounded Christmas 2020 event to support those who have served.
